The Whitney Museum is transforming the entirety of Gansevoort Street in front of the Museum’s main entrance into a pedestrian-only, grassy thoroughfare all weekend long.

Relax on the Whitney Lawn and enjoy family-friendly activities, including hands-on artmaking, performances, photo booths, giveaways, and more.

Pride Photo Booth 11 am–6 pm
Strike a pose (or two) in a photo booth designed by FDK Florals and take home a memory.

Open Studio on the Whitney Lawn 11 am–3 pm
Families with kids of all ages are invited to personalize their own sketchbook and create a DIY button to express your message of pride!

Community Open House 11 am–3 pm
Meet organizations that serve LGBTQ+ audiences and artists in New York City. Participants include the LGBT Center, SAGE, The Shed, and more.

A Gathering of the Tribes Pride Poetry Gathering Fire with Chavisa Woods 11 am, 1:15 pm
A Gathering of the Tribes and Capturing Fire present the second annual Gathering Fire with readings from five renowned poets. This queer lit event celebrates the diverse LGBTQ+ community of poets and writers and their rich history of collaborating on revolutionary new works with support from allies.
