Proud to Stand Up
The Stonewall Uprising was a series of protests in New York City where members of the LGBTQ+ community stood up for their basic rights and rights to self-expression. This week we honor these efforts through activities that help us build tools to stand up for our rights and those around us!

Artful Activism
Show the world what you care about by creating a protest sign in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Learn about LGBTQ+ civil rights and pioneering figures like Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Stormé DeLarverie, and Miss Major Griffin-Gracy.

Enjoy the art of drag through love, literacy, and laughter. Drag Story Hour storytellers present kids with glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models and allow kids to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves!
