Mozart for Munchkins puts on free Saturday morning concerts that focus on a different style of music each week—classical, jazz, bluegrass, and more—performed by first-rate artists who have played the stages of Carnegie Hall, Broadway, Lincoln Center, and other top venues.

September 25 - Unique New York
Celebrate everything that makes us each unique New Yorkers and come together through song and dance with Musiquita, featuring special guest vocalist Aubrey Logan.

October 2 - Jazz Freeze Dance
Down by the Bay and freeze dance hooray, this jazz program has a lot to say! Groove to the drums, bass, & trombone, with a dash of guitar and sing-alongs. Featuring Ric Becker and his band.

October 9 - Let's Dance
From waltzes to jazz to stompin' hoe downs, you’ll be moving and grooving at this fun filled concert with a chance to meet the piano, horn, clarinet, & bassoon. This program includes a mix of Bach, Gershwin, Brahms, and more.

October 16 - Rhythm Around the World
From drums to bongos and more, learn about different rhythms from around the world,. Featuring Grammy© nominated drummer Jake Goldbas.

October 23 - Magic Music
Meet and get to know the many personalities of the violin, viola and cello. You'll hear trios, duos, solos and you might even recognize some sing-alongs (or "string-alongs!"). Featuring Marta Bagratuni.

October 30 - Jazz Spooktacular
Little jazz cats, come dress up and play! This concert is for lovers of jazzy brass, drums, and bubbles. Come dressed up to join in the costume parade!

November 6 - Musiquita
A morning with Musiquita! Meet the violin/fiddle, ukulele, melodica, percussion and more! This unique program playfully explores Spanish and English music and song through classics, sing-alongs, and dancing.

November 13 - Kidfolk!
Stomp your feet and clap your hands to the sounds of bluegrass. Experience an exciting fusion of classical, Americana and folk music in a relaxed, fun atmosphere with fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, vocals, and more!

November 20 - Jazzical City
From classical to jazz, this program plays with city sounds ranging from animals to thunderstorms to sounds of a subway train and honking horns.

November 27 - Jingle Bell Swing
Holidays are here, so celebrate with a special jazz set curated for little ones and their grown-ups! Sing along to Frosty the Snowman and swing O Tannenbaum with all the hip cats.

December 4 - Freeze Dance
Ric Becker and his band are back in this holiday filled jazz program. Groove to the drums, bass, & trombone, with a dash of guitar and sing-alongs.

December 11 - Holiday Jam
This tuneful program is filled with holiday favorites, dancing fiddle tunes, and a chance to meet the violin, cello, piano, and more!

December 18 - Nutcracker & Jingles
Ballet, bells, holiday tunes! This concert features holiday favorites and selections from the Nutcracker for woodwind quintet. There will be holiday bells for all!

December 29 - New Year's Party
Ring in the New Year with a jazz party!
