Healing with Play at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum
Sat Nov 22, 2025
Various times
Age: All ages
Price: Free with museum admission
November is Children’s Grief Awareness Month and BCM is partnering with New York Life Foundation to provide resources to help support children and families experiencing loss. Stop by throughout the day for storytime sessions, activities that explore memory, and special performances of the play, Please Ship This Wet Gift.
Please Ship This Wet Gift is one clown’s interactive presentation about terrible feelings: things that are unfair, scary, sad, and just really annoying. Families can laugh together about feeling bad at a performance that melds clown theater with expert puppetry to bring compassion and lightness to heavy topics.
Please Ship This Wet Gift has two showings: at 11am and 2:30pm. Seating is limited. First come, first served.
