The Brooklyn Children's Museum’s first "We Got Something to Say" Family Music Series, invites Brooklyn families to connect to Black artists who are using music to inspire change. Hear what each artist has to say while enjoying dance, food, community art, and award-winning family music

Saturday, September 18: Divinity Roxx | 4pm-6pm
Divinity Roxx combines virtuosic bass playing with an eclectic mash-up of hip-hop, rock and funk that she calls 'Alternative Soul.'

Saturday, September 25: Fyütch | 3pm-5pm
Fyütch uses Hip-Hop, spoken word, and visual storytelling to create unique all-ages experiences that promote racial equity and liberation.

Saturday, October 2: Shine and the Moonbeams | 4pm-6pm
Shine and the Moonbeams mix funk-soul with heartfelt sentimentality and have performed at some of New York’s most prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, SummerStage, and Lincoln Center.

Saturday, October 9: Father Goose | 4pm-6pm
Known as "The King of the Dance Party," Father Goose has received recognition from Parent’s Choice Awards and the Grammy Award.
