Cas Holman’s Prototyping Play experiments with different modes of intuitive and child-directed free play in an art museum environment.  

Event Highlights:

1pm to 4pm: Drop-In Art Workshops
Led by one of the museum's teaching artists, these hands-on art-making sessions are designed for the whole family to enjoy.

3pm to 3:45pm: Exhibition walkthrough and demo with Cas Holman
Explore Prototyping Play with a guided tour and learn more about Cas Holman’s innovative playscape.

Interactive Installations:
– Tracing Play: Use human-sized Drawing Tools to create marks on the Drawing Pads or paper surfaces.
– Critter Party: Interact with the Mama Critter, Baby Critters, and Thingies, which invite various types of play like crawling, sliding, storytelling, and building.
