Using smell and touch, discover the world of herbal and botanical arts. Inspired by Wave Hill’s Herb Garden, create a sensory work of art that incorporates lavender and other plants.

Families can also focus in on the scents of some familiar and unusual herbs at a special drop-in station. Scratch and sniff some pettable plants and check out the shapes, textures, colors and scents of their leaves and flowers.

Please note the following important COVID-related information to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Approximately nine families will be able to participate at a time, based on the time each family arrives.

  • If capacity is full when you arrive, a “come back” card will be provided so you will have first entry for the next session.

  • Each family will receive its own set of materials and cleaning will happen in between seating participants.

  • All visitors must wear a mask inside.
