Family Art Project: Catching Light with Camera Obscuras

Sat Aug 13, 2022
10:00am to 1:00pm ET
4 and up
Free with park admission

Collaborate with the sun, shadow, and the ever-changing light to create your very own camera obscura. Using upcycled and natural materials, construct a camera to then use it to document nature in motion.

Please note the following important COVID-related information to ensure everyone’s safety should the program need to move inside:

  • Approximately nine families will be able to participate at a time, based on the time each family arrives.

  • If capacity is full when you arrive, a “come back” card will be provided so you will have first entry for the next session.

  • Each family will receive its own set of materials and cleaning will happen in between seating participants.

  • All visitors must wear a mask inside.
