City Parks Foundation's Family Adventure Race is a parent-child race that incorporates basic exercises and sports skills, and provides a healthy, one-hour dose of fun for families. The timed course features 12 activity stations.

Activities include: javelin throw, jumprope, hurdles, a mini-climbing wall and more. Awards are given to the top finishers in each race. All participants who finish the race  receive a medal.

Registration in advance is encouraged and walk-ups are welcome. Races take place at 9am (ages 7-8), 10am (ages 9-11) and 11am (ages 12-13).
