Classical Halloween Concert
Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra celebrates Halloween with some of its own tricks and treats, including the Saint-Saëns classic, Dance Macabre.
The devil gets his due in Tartini's fiendish Devil's Trill with Mialtin Zhezha, violin. Franz Liszt treats us to a pyrotechnic display in his Totentanz, where pianist Konstantin Soukhovetski handles this virtuoso tour de force. Metropolitan Opera Bass Mikhail Svetlov voices the Prince of Darkness and Grace Chorale of Brooklyn provides the Angelic Host in the powerful Prologue to Mefestofeles by Boito.
Please purchase tickets ahead of the event. Tickets can be purchased below. Children 5-12 are free!
Vaccine cards will be checked.
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
The concert runtime is 100 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission.
