Unleash your creativity and delve into the history of Carnivals by crafting traditional masks under the guidance of professional folk artists from Hungary. Explore the artistic expressions that have adorned festivities for centuries and take home your very own mask.

Doughnut-Eating Contest:
Brace yourself for a whimsical challenge at a Traditional Doughnut Eating Contest. Picture this: doughnuts hanging on strings, swaying in the carnival breeze. Can you devour the sweetness without the aid of your hands?

Hungarian Folk Dancing:
As the sun sets, the rhythm of live Hungarian folk music reveals the hidden mathematics behind each pattern, sequence, and step. It’s a family-friendly exploration of dance, culture, and mathematics.

Note: Costumes are welcome! Embrace the spirit of the carnival by dressing up in your favorite costumes to add an extra layer of festivity.

Pizza will be served and donuts will be used in an activity. Participants who register a few days in advance of the event will be able to request gluten-free food accommodations.
