Join the Brooklyn Children’s Museum to usher in the Year of the Tiger. Guests can learn about the traditions of the Lunar New Year celebration through story times, live music, calligraphy workshops, and a rooftop parade courtesy of the Chinatown Young Lions and their impressive lion puppets.

Two sessions are available: 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. Book your tickets online in advance.

Morning Program Schedule:

10:30am–11:30am: Calligraphy in ColorLab with Nelson Leung
11:30am–12pm: Lion Dancing with Chinatown Community Young Lions
11:30am–12:45pm: Firework Community Art Project
12pm–12:45pm: Storytelling & Mandarin Lessons with Michele Wong McSween

Afternoon Program Schedule:

2pm–4pm: Firework Community Art Project
2:30pm–3:15pm: Storytelling & Mandarin Lessons with Michele Wong McSween
3:15pm–3:45pm: Lion Dancing with Chinatown Community Young Lions
