Cool Culture teams up with the Brooklyn Museum for an afternoon of free art activities for the whole family!  All activities encourage caregivers, families, and children to see themselves as the artists, storytellers, creators, and curators that they are. 

Inspired by the Museum’s collections and exhibitions, get ready for:

  • Creating unique clay figures to contribute to Artland
  • Colombian cumbia dancing with Manuela Agudelo
  • Interactive dancing and music with BK Music Learning
  • Goddess clay-making with Seema Shakti
  • African mask-making with Juliet James
  • Tissue-paper flower bouquets with Brooklyn Museum staff
  • Book giveaways by Reading for Black Lives 
  • Museum-wide bingo for a prize 
  • Health and well-being resources and free snacks!
