Art Saturday at Industry City
The 6 million-square-foot, 35-acre creative community—home of the Brooklyn Design District—hosts its first Art Saturday, an all-day, campus-wide exhibition of art and design through the lens of individual artists.

YUi Brooklyn Candle Pop-Up Day | 11am-6pm | The Loft at Japan Village, 934 3rd Ave (Building 4)
Interested in the art of candle making? Experience the pop-up market hosted by Japanese candle manufacturer YUi Brooklyn at The Loft on the second floor of Japan Village. A range of hand-poured soy and beeswax candles in lovely forms and smells, inspired by the Kawaii culture, are on display and for sale at YUi.
Kids Flower Arrangement Workshop | 11:15am-12:15pm | The Loft at Japan Village, 934 3rd Ave (Building 4)
Join IPPIN PROJECT for a flower arrangement class for children at The Loft in Japan Village. Attendees learn the fundamentals of Japanese floral arranging, from vase selection to displaying their work. Flowers, floral foam, and containers are provided. Please bring your own scissors. Register online in advance for tickets ($50).
SASKIA: Bead Making Workshop | 12-4pm | 51 35th Street (Building 5)
Visit SASKIA for a beading class for children and adults. DIY kits are available for purchase.
