The fifth edition of Animation First, celebrating the artistry of French animation, offers both in person and online options and includes premieres of feature-length and short films, new restorations of favorite and lesser-known masterpieces, and more.

In conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibit Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts, the festival also takes a deeper look at the cultural connection between the two countries with a panel discussion on how the world of Walt Disney inspired French animation.

Throughout the festival weekend, the FIAF Gallery isopen for free to the general public to experience virtual reality experiences and video games from students (ENJMIN, Angoulême, France), and from the French studio The Pixel Hunt.
