Little ones, ages 2-5, love Adventures from the Shed's immersive and inclusive shows for preschoolers and their families, featuring puppetry, music, movement, and more.

Professional teaching artists take guests on an adventure filled with memorable songs, funky dance moves, and a bit of theater magic. See what the puppets—including The Thing That Goes Blurg, Lion Down, Super Scarlett, and Chef Preston—are up to.

Adventures are brought to you by inclusive theater company Chickenshed NYC—and inclusive theater means that children of all abilities and backgrounds can play. All shows are held at the 14th Street Y and are fully accessible.   

Check-in starts at 9:45am, and the show begins at 10am. Please arrive early, as Blurgh and friends like to start on time. Run time is approximately 30 minutes, and there's time afterwards for pictures with cast members.

COVID-safeguarding is a priority and includes:

• All audience members age 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination.
• Everyone age 2 and up must wear a mask. 
• Each child receives their own backpack of props (santized before and after each performance).
• Families are seated in a socially distanced arrangement.
