Kids Learn How to Draw
- see all dates
Except January 17, 2022.
New to Art? Want to get started? Drawing is the most essential tool to have in all the visual arts, the perfect starting point to every other media. Learning how to draw will set you up with the essentials you need to express yourself. In a few short weeks students will see their confidence grow as they progress and build observational skills.
Every week, the instructor will set preliminary drawing exercises based on still life study & provide demos in classic techniques for achieving proportion, perspective, and shading, while using still-life arrangements as studies. Students will work in a combination of pencil, charcoal, inks and colored pastels. The last class will end with a useful critique that will fuel ideas and inspire future artistic adventures.
Class is offered as single day drop-ins or sign up for multi-week full courses by selecting the start date from the registration calendar below.
