Improv 4 Kids Class - Spring 2024
Improv and Stand-Up Comedy help students discover their best selves building self confidence, creative writing, critical thinking and public speaking. This full 8-week session starts with Improvisation, playing fun games while teaching valuable life skills. Sessions include Stand-Up Comedy, taking stories of experience and observation, then crafting original comedy routines. Each session ends with a performance showcase of original and improvised comedy skits completely created by the students. The classes and workshops integrate perfectly with cultural arts, language arts and character building/guidance.

Teacher: Walt Frasier
Professional credits include TV (Blacklist, Billions, Letterman, Friends of the People, Royal Pains, Lilyhammer, Blue Bloods) Theater (Off Broadway, International Touring, Regional), Eductional Theater Director/Teachers and music (Walter is also a trained Opera singer and pianist)
As Artistic Director and founding member of NEW YORK IMPROV THEATER (EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH, LMAOff Broadway, Improv 4 Kids, Improv 4 Teens) with over 6000 professional Improv comedy shows since 2002. Walter's #1 rule is HAVE FUN but never at another's expense. Due to his extensive work with both corporate teams, college/university students and K-12 schools, Walt Frasier was named the director of instruction at the Comedy Hall of Fame in 2009. Corporate Clients include Google, Meta, ByteDance / TikTok, TD Bank, HSBC, UBER, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, IBM, American Express, Twitter, BING/Microsoft, UBS, UNILEAVER, and 100s more.
