I Love Animals for Kids: Drawing + Painting
- see all dates
Capturing portraits of amazing animals with their unique features and characteristics is an excellent way for children to learn the skill of painting. In this painting course, young artists pick up valuable tools like color mixing and brush applications and techniques.
Children learn how to skillfully sketch out a favorite animal before moving onto painting, demo how to paint anatomical features and capturing eyes or dynamic poses to highlight individual expressions and examine realistic textures like fur, feathers, bone, skin using brush applications. This art class is ideal for children who love to paint, pick up tips and hone observational skills.
Each week focuses on a different animal and children will complete a fully realized painting on canvas.
Wednesdays 3:00pm-4:30pm
