Children’s Museum of the Arts offers a variety of classes across a range of art techniques. Taught by teaching artists, these art-filled courses encourage your child or teen to express creativity, develop an artistic voice, and build critical thinking skills. CMA also provides free inclusive classes on weekends for families with children on the autism spectrum and children living with physical challenges.
CMA’s after-school program, stART Studio classes (for ages 5 and under), and Art Colony Day Camps inspire children to build upon their artistic skills while exploring creative and imaginative expression. The after-school program features semester-long classes for young artists ages 5 to 15. stART Studio classes introduce art making to children as young as 10 months, encouraging self-expression, socialization, and creativity. The Art Colony Day Camp program consists of one-day or weeklong innovative art camps held during school breaks.
