Queens Botanical Garden - Camps

Queens Botanical Garden offers hands-on discovery for children ages 2 to 14 throughout the year. Kids’ imagination and knowledge blossom as they plant and harvest vegetables and flowers, explore the Garden’s engaging 39 acres, and prepare the food they’ve grown.

Garden Buds (ages 2-3) | Spring & Fall
Children explore the wonder of nature through hands-on work and play.

Forest Explorers (ages 2-6) | All Seasons
Rooted in the traditions of the Forest School model, Forest Explorers nurtures self-confidence and connection to the Earth.

Children's Garden sponsored by HSBC (preK-5th grade) | Spring, Summer, Fall
Kids spend time planting, playing, and learning in a nurturing environment.

Junior Naturalists (entering 6th-9th grade) | Summer Only
Young Naturalists are challenged to use observation skills to discover how plants, sustainability, and local ecosystems are part of everyday life.
