Things to Do in NJ Christmas Weekend: Gingerbread Workshop, Winter Solstice, Airport Santa
It's the holly jolly weekend leading up to the big event! Christmas will finally be here on Wednesday, and this weekend is the perfect time to squeeze in all those last-minute Santa visits, light displays, and Nutcracker performances.
Make the most of the concluding weekend for popular seasonal celebrations. Don't miss the final opportunity to experience a Visit with Santa at Longstreet Farm, Country Christmas with Santa, Red Bank's Holiday Horse & Wagon Rides, and Maplewood's Dickens Village 2019. Get in the spirit of all December holidays, with Hanukkah celebrations in Springfield and Cherry Hill among others, and NJPAC's Kwanzaa Family Festival.
If you've made your list and checked it twice, avoid shopping on Tuesday and spend the day at fun events like Santa Arrives in Chatham and Santa Flies into Princeton Airport. And once those gifts are all unwrapped on Wednesday, you can take a breather at The Winter Wonderlights Spectacular and Adventure Aquarium, both open on Christmas.
