Weekday Fun in NJ: Zoo Playtime, Children's Garden, Bird Walk

Things to Do for New Jersey Kids, September 19-23, 2016

There's plenty of outdoor fun on tap this week in NJ as we soak in the final weeks of warm weather. Hit the Camden Children's Garden for a hands-on parent-child workshop, head to Liberty State Park for a bird walk, or nosh your way through the Mercer County Italian American Festival. Special storytimes are also in this week's spotlight: check out the Bergen County Zoo’s Playtime at the Zoo and the Hoboken Historical Museum’s Uptown Storytime. Kids can even get a chance to read to a pup at Tail Waggin’ Tutors.

Read on for our best children's events for the week of September 19-23, and don’t forget to check out our Event Calendar, September GoList, and Fall Fun Guide for even more autumnal amusements.
