There’s plenty to keep kids busy this week, whether you choose to stay warm at indoor storytime freebies or soak up early spring with animal-themed activities. Tooth Fairy Party – Madison
The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts honors the little-known National Tooth Fairy Day. Kids 6 and under will learn about teeth and create a tooth fairy craft. Pre-registration is required.
Storytime at the Rancocas Nature Center – Washington Township
Rancocas Nature Center hosts this weekly preschool program featuring stories, songs, and crafts. Pre-registration is required. FREE
Wednesday, March 1
Mommy & Me Storytime – Montclair
Watchung Booksellers presents a weekly storytime for the 2-and-under crowd. Space is limited to 12 children, so you may want to get there early. FREE
Tod Squad – Branchburg
There’s no shortage of toddler-friendly activities at Branchburg Sports Complex. The fun includes a bounce house, soft play equipment, a Playmaze, and inflatables. As a bonus, parents get a complimentary cup of coffee.

Kids Creativity Center at MAM – Montclair
While parents attend Montclair Art Museum’s free First Thursday events, the kids can partake in an evening art workshop, where they'll use various materials to create a seasonal craft. There is a fee for the children’s portion of the evening.
Paws Discovery Farm Grand Re-Opening – Mt. Laurel
Hang out with some pigs, donkeys, parrots, turtles, and other farm friends during this petting zoo’s re-opening week. Check out the roster of classes, storytimes, and other farm happenings.

This comedian and magician, known from "America’s Got Talent," performs his hilarious one-man show (along with his chihuahua sidekick) at Mayo Performing Arts Center. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
First Friday Storytime – Hamilton
Kids 3–8 are invited to enjoy wildlife-themed stories and crafts at Tulpehaking Nature Center. FREE
