The New York Society of Model Engineers hosts an open house, featuring two massive model railroad layouts covering more than 5000 square feet. The "O" Scale layout features a detailed scenic diorama with realistic track work, signals, stations, industries, structures, bridges and tunnels.

Throughout the day, passenger, freight, and circus trains run on the respective layouts. Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends make an appearance.
