Sat Aug 7, 2021
10:00am ET
Tinicum Rear Range Lighthouse

Observed annually on August 7, National Lighthouse Day honors the beacon of light that for hundreds of years symbolized safety and security for ships and boats at sea. The Tinicum Rear Range Lighthouse celebrates with games, lighthouse climbing, and more.

The formal ceremony begins at noon and is co-hosted by the United States Coast Guard. Children's activities include heaving line toss, knot-tying table, chain pull, and a coloring contest. Plus, music, food, and displays of fire and police equipment and Battleship New Jersey top off the day.
