AWA's STEM Education Day is a fun day for kids to learn about and interact with STEM in the world of animal welfare.  Kids will hear from a Certified Canine Nutritionist, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and our Education Team.  

This is a drop-off style event.  Kids will rotate through different topics like veterinary science and medicine, animal behavior, pet nutrition, engineering and design, and the life of a butterfly. Hands-on activities will help participants understand how STEM is used everyday in animal welfare and how they can be involved with this in the future.

WSFS Bank gives generous support of the STEM Education Day.

K-5th grade students: 12:30pm-2:30pm

6th-12th grade students: 3pm-5pm
