Stop by New Jersey State Museum for a free conservation event, held in collaboration with the New Jersey DEP, highlighting the Museum's exhibition Ecosystems at Risk: Threatened & Endangered in NJ and some of the conservation projects taking place in the state. 

The following have immersive, hands-on activities: 

  • NJ Forest Fire Service
  • NJ Forest Service
  • NJ DEP's Division of Fish & Wildlife
  • NJ School of Conservation
  • Wildlife Society: NJ Chapter, and The Wetlands Institute.

Exhibition tours are offered at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. The DEP has an interactive Conservation trailer, NJ Forest Fire Service presents a brush truck and Smokey the Bear (weather permitting).
