Celebrate park and recreation professionals with fun events taking place each Sunday in July. Park and recreation programs are essential to community health and well-being and help cultivate lifelong friendships, memories, and family bonds that people hold dear decades later.

The 2025 theme, “Build Together, Play Together, " reminds us of the contributions of more than 160,000 full-time park and recreation professionals — along with hundreds of thousands of part-time and seasonal workers and volunteers — who maintain our country’s close-to-home parks.

  Get ready for non-stop fun with an inflatable obstacle course and exciting games.

  Climb, explore, and get up close with your favorite Police, Fire and Park vehicle!

  Roll with Recreation
  Glide, spin, and groove with our first roller-skating pop up. Skating is ‘on the house’, but don't forget to bring your own socks.
