K.A.M.P. (Kids’ Art Museum Project)
The Hammer Museum hosts its annual K.A.M.P. (Kids’ Art Museum Project) fundraiser, an event imagined by artists for kids and their families.
Painters, sculptors, architects, and creative types of all kinds lead inventive, hands-on workshops in the carefree atmosphere of the Hammer courtyard.
Museum K.A.M.P. also celebrates reading with story time. Celebrity guests engage families as they read from their favorite children’s books.
This year’s participating artists include: Eddie Aparicio, Zoe Blue M., Awol Erizku, Amir H. Fallah, Sharif Farrag, Chase Hall, Elliott Hundley, Maria Maea, Jane Margarette, Jill Mulleady & Alina Perkins, Megan Reed, and Austyn Weiner. The artists translate their practices into projects specially designed for kids
The event includes lunch by Annie Campbell.
All K.A.M.P. proceeds support the museum’s free Hammer Kids programming, which includes weekly offerings such as family workshops, Family Day, and Family Flicks.
