In 2023, the Hanukkah event is back at the Shalom Institute in Malibu.

The Shalom Institute's annual Hanukkah event returns, in spite of the loss of Camp JCA Shalom in the Woolsey Fire. Families are invited to check out the camp's new location in the Angeles National Forest while celebrating the Festival of Lights.

Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including crafts, a Hanukkah sing-along, outdoor sports, and a chance top tour the camp's new location. Fee includes all activities, snacks, and kosher lunch—all on the location of some of the scenes from Cecil B. DeMille's Ten Commandments.
