Two classic films by Hayao Miyazaki are presented this weekend at The Frida.

My Neighbor Totoro is about two young girls who develop a friendship with the large bunny-like creature Totoro.  Rated G.  Presented in Japanese, with English subtitles.

In Princess Mononoke, young warrior Ashitaka becomes afflicted with a deadly curse that grants him super-human power in battle but will eventually take his life. Traveling west to find a cure he meets San (Princess Mononoke), a girl raised by wolf-gods.

Rated PG-13 for (animated) violence and gore. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
