A new adventure is in store at the El Capitan Theatre. The beloved venue reopens with the new Disney release Raya and the Last Dragon.
About the film: Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good.
The film features the voice talents of Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Sandra Oh, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, and Benedict Wong. Raya and the Last Dragon is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour 47 minutes.
Safety measures in place include mask and social distancing requirements. Theatre occupancy is limited. Alternating rows of seats will be blocked to create forward and rear spacing of 6 feet
Want the place all to yourself? From March 22- 26 moviegoers can rent out the entire theatre for a private screening at 9am or 12:30pm for $500 (max capacity 90 guests) .
