Women's March Los Angeles
In 2017, 1.5 million angelenos gathered in Pershing Square for Women's March LA, one of numerous marches held throughout the US and the world.
In 2020 women are rising to affirm that women’s rights are human rights, and human rights are women’s rights.
This is an inclusive, non-partisan march, and everyone who supports women’s rights is welcome.
The event is open to all (not just women!) Participants gather in the spirit of democracy and stand together in support of human rights, civil liberties, tolerance of diversity, and compassion for our shared humanity.
There is no cost to attend the event.
The march begins at Pershing Square and ends at City Hall.
Recommended arrival time is 9am. The march starts at 10am and lasts until about 11:30am. Programming at City Hall runs from 11am until approximately 2pm.
Participants are advised to use public transportation/ ride sharing services for transportation to the march, in anticipation of high congestion and street closures in the Downtown LA area.
