VIRTUAL: America's Teaching Zoo Spring Spectacular
Sure you may be stuck inside, but that's no reason you cant go to the zoo!
America's Teaching Zoo moves its Spring Spectacular to a safe space, offering a live stream of its Spring Spectacular show at noon and 2pm.
UPDATE: America's Teaching Zoo Spring Spectacular has been canceled.
A Virtual Stream of the Spring Spectacular is offered on Sunday at 12pm and 2pm.
"In an attempt to meet the guidelines set by the state of California and our Chancellor’s office, we have come to the conclusion to cancel our Spring Spectacular event the next two weekends."
The zoo celebrates animals and learning at Moorpark College's annual Spring Spectacular, featuring Bug Ology.
Different animals are featured every hour in the Eye to Eye Theater, and children can also enjoy arts and crafts, live animals, a butterfly conservation station, puppet shows, and more in the Kids' Zone.
This year's theme is "Zoomanji"
The animal shows during this event are much more involved than the usual weekly shows, so even if you think you've seen everything the Teaching Zoo has to offer, it's worth another trip to Moorpark. And if you haven't been to the zoo - what are you waiting for? It's #67 on our list of 100 Things To Do with LA Kids before They Grow Up!
