Japan Family Day at Santa Anita Park was started as a way to introduce Japanese traditional culture and to interact with the people of Southern California. The annual event is SoCal's biggest Japanese Family Festival.

 Highlights of the day-long festival include Tokyo city cup G3 and other horse racing, Japanese traditional/pop culture, and various food/drink. 

This year's special events and performances include a taiko (Japanese drum) performance, a cosplay contest, and a calligraphy workshop. The Kids Fun Area features a cha contest, dance with the Kawaii Crew, and fun games for kids.

Guests can indulge in Japanese favorites such as sushi, yakitori, yakisoba, onigiri, and shaved ice.

Saturday: 10:30am - 5pm
Sunday: 11am - 5pm
