LMU Concerts of Music for Children

Sun Jan 26, 2020

LMU offers two performances of its annual free Concert of Music for Children in Murphy Recital Hall on campus.

This year’s concert features music by Beethoven, Poulenc, Duarte and LMU faculty composer Ryan Dorin performed by the Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company in collaboration with LMU music students and faculty members Tania Fleischer and Ken Aiso.

Additional fun can be found in the hilarious poetry of Spike Milligan in Hark, Hark, the Ark set for voice and guitar, and a full staging of the beloved children’s tale, Babar the Elephant.

Performances are at 1pm and 3pm. Both performances are free and open to the public. For more information, call the LMU Department of Music at 310-338-5386.
