Heartbeat of Mexico
- see all dates
Musco Center’s Heartbeat of Mexico Festival offers a weekend filled with performances and festivities celebrating Mexican and Mexican-American culture and arts.
Headliners of the festival include Grammy Award-winning group Kinky (Friday at 7:30pm).
On Friday evening, the concert features Latin Grammy-nominated Flor de Toloache, New York City’s first all-women mariachi, Flor de Toloache, and Las Cafeteras.
On Sunday, guests can enjoy a free, family-friendly festival, with performances, workshops, arts & crafts, vendors, food, and children’s activities, all celebrating Mexican and Mexican-American history, culture, art, and community.
Later that night at 6:30pm the Musco welcomes Mexico City’s Son Rompe Pera, the "kings of cumbia punk", to Aitken Arts Plaza.
Events in Aitken Arts Plaza are free to all, but registration is required. Tickets to events in Musco Center start at $25.
