Taking inspiration from Charles Gaines’s investigation of grids and systems, participants build layered artworks displaying trees and other plant species using multicolored cellophane and markers.

The transparency of the materials and specific process utilized in the workshop mirror Gaines’s works on view in the exhibition, ‘Charles Gaines. Palm Trees and Other Works.’ 

This workshop is led by local artist Chloe Pang.

This drop-in activity is free, however, reservations are recommended.
