The Segerstrom celebrates Mexican Independence with a free event on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. 

Guests can discover Mexico’s cultural heritage and enjoy live performances from Mariachi Infantil R.H.Y.T.M.O, Pilares de México,  Danza de Tecuanes, Ariana Martínez, Orgullo Guerrerense & Nostalgía Calentana Guerrerense, Chinelos,  El Grito
and David Mendoza

Grito de Dolores (Cry of Dolores) was the battle cry of the Mexican War of Independence from Spain, first uttered by Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, parish priest of Dolores (now Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato state), on Sept. 16, 1810.

The event is presented in collaboration with the Consulate of Mexico.
