Coastal Cleanup Month
- see all dates
This year, Coastal Cleanup Day becomes Coastal Cleanup Month. Heal the Bay invites families to come together (at a safe distance) to help protect and clean our watersheds and coastline with decentralized cleanups.
Families can clean up their street, neighborhood park, local shoreline, or other special place any day in September. Register your cleanup to stay connected with thousands of other Angelenos hosting their own cleanups and to help Heal the Bay track the amount of trash we’ve kept off our streets and beaches. Registrants also receive tips on conducting a safe, environmentally-friendly, and effective cleanup.
In addition, each week offers a series of events about the various issues facing the diverse regions that makeup Los Angeles. Knowledge Drops, Panels, and Live Instagram chats feature experts and organizations working to make LA better for local communities and wildlife.
