On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Big Sunday hosts volunteers, friends and community members in collecting and sorting clothing for disadvantaged and grateful people. Participants can enjoy a community breakfast with friends, neighbors and people from all walks of life who have come to share in this unique experience which carries on Dr. Martin Luther King’s spirit of togetherness and community-building.
Please note: Big Sunday is collecting clothing of all sorts for men, women and children now through the morning of the event. All items can be dropped off at Big Sunday, 6111 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90038. Last year, approximately 23,000 items of clothing were collected and about 650 volunteers participated in the event.
