America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

America’s Teaching Zoo shines bright this holiday season during its enchanting holiday light event. Highlights include the Arctic Enchanted Aviary and the Illuminated Jungle complete with a glow-in-the-dark garden.

Guests take a self-guided stroll throughout the Zoo filled with dynamic lights, immersive interactive experiences, fabulous photo ops, and seasonal magic. Santa's Workshop and 12-foot tall Holiday Tree greet visitors at the start of their journey.

Ira the lion, never one to miss a party, can be seen under the Lion’s Den Canopy of Lights, (he's either roaring or snoring, you never know!)

Please note: This is not an animal centered event, some of the animals enjoy the lights and some just sleep through the night.
