Mother of Dragons, meet Museum of Dinosaurs ...

The new mini exhibit at the Natural History Museum explores the lives and legends of the HBO Original House of the Dragon, a prequel to Game of Thrones.

The 2,500-square foot exhibit allows visitors to explore the mythical world of Westeros, the Targaryen dynasty, and the dragons that ruled beside them.

The House of the Dragon experience features tutorials on the Valyrian language, original costumes from the show, and series memorabilia, including dragon eggs. In addition, a replica of a new Iron Throne is on display and available for visitors to sit on and take pictures.

In addition, NHM works with its own scientists to discuss on social media the relationship between dragons and the real life creatures that may have inspired them.

House of the Dragon:The Targaryen Dynasty is on view August 5–September 7, 2022.
