The East Los Angeles Library offers information on what an eclipse is and how to view it safely. Attendees can then step out into the library patio to view the partial eclipse with friends and family in real time.

Safety instructions, light refreshments, and live NASA news coverage are available in our Library Community Room during the program. Eclipse glasses are provided to program participants while supplies last and are not available in advance.

Parents and guardians: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available.

DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT PROPER EYE PROTECTION.  The NASA website has information on viewing the eclipse safely.
