Drop In and Draw Saturday Morning Cartoons
- see all dates
What's up, Doc? Wascally wabbits (and kids) can participate in a free "Saturday Morning Cartoon" drop-in and draw activity at the Bowers Kidseum, presented by Chuck Jones Center for Creativity.
Participants watch a selection of cartoons and learn how to draw a Looney Tunes character - a different one every session - taught by skilled teaching artists. Budding artists can also doodle or draw to express their own creativity.
This program is for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
No pre-registration is required. A small optional donation is welcome to help cover the costs of materials.
In addition, an art class for children ages 8-16 is held immediately following Drop In and Draw. A painting or drawing project is featured using different media for each class with experienced teaching artists to guide the process. This class is $20. Limited to 20 participants; pre-registration is required.
