Bloomsday is a worldwide annual celebration of James Joyce and his landmark book Ulysses.

The Hammer's lively celebration features a cast of veteran actors delivering dramatic readings from the novel interspersed with songs.  The reading is followed by festivities in the museum’s courtyard with live music and Guinness on tap.

Admission is free. Seats are assigned when tickets are picked up at the box office. Seats are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Box office opens one hour before the event.
