Best Things To Do in LA this May with Kids
It's May 2021, and things are looking up. After over a year of experiencing life through a Zoom window, we can finally venture out and go places (such as the Discovery Cubes in OC and LA), hear things (like music at the Hollywood Bowl), and bemoan the lack of tickets (for the new Immersive Van Gogh experience, opening this month).
We are starting to celebrate holidays outside our pods: How about a Mother's Day brunch at the Reagan Library? A friendly round of Loteria for Cinco de Mayo? An open-air concert for Memorial Day weekend?
When Knott's Berry Farm reopens we will have reached peak theme park, with all major venues welcoming guests. Parks are breaking out the bells and whistles, too: Knott's is celebrating 100 years of amusement, while Legoland is debuting a whole new world (hint: it's awesome!)
As the summer approaches and restrictions get lifted, expect to see even more of our favorites returning. Until then, May we suggest a few highlights for the month ahead...
While we are trying to promote safer activities that occur outdoors or with social distancing guidelines in place, please keep your family and others safe by always wearing a mask and maintaining an appropriate distance. If you arrive at an event that appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our Event Calendar to find something else to do.
