Greenport Maritime Festival — Greenport
Avast ye land-lubbers! Starting on Friday evening, visitors can expect a display of classic wooden boats, kayak races, water sport demos, wood carving, and more. A parade marches through downtown Greenport on Saturday morning.
Festival by the Sea — Long Beach
The festival’s youthful flavor is highlighted by puppet shows, circus performers, animal acts, pony rides, cool sciencem and a petting zoo. Guests can stroll the boardwalk to water’s edge to “dig” the sand castle contest. FREE
Nassau Hook & Ladder Carnival — Valley Stream
