Visit Montauk Point Lighthouse for Colonial games, pirate parades, and traditional pottery this weekend. Get immersed in Polish heritage at the annual Polish Town Fair in Riverhead. Catch Jester Jim's show filled with juggling, magic, audience participation, beat boxing, and more at Hempstead Lake State Park. These are just some of the great events and activities for Long Island kids and families this weekend.    

As always in the late summer, head outdoors to a boardwalk, beach, pool, sprinkler park, or perhaps cool off at a water park.
